On 11 Jul 10 Robert L. Lohr, age 19, 817 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, reported he departed his locked residence at 1 am and when he drove past his home approximately four hours later he noticed lights were on inside. When he looked inside the home, Mr. Lohr said several rooms were ransacked and furniture was upended. Interviewing the other residents of the home, Deputy Sheriffs Reeder and Travaglio determined a DVD player, a Playstation, a .38 handgun, five gold and diamond necklaces and five gold rings were missing. This case remains under investigation.
On 15 Jul 10 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued minor misdemeanor citations to Samuel L. Larrimore, age 18, 101 Evans Street Apt. 23, New Matamoras, and Heather D. May, age 22, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 8A, New Matamoras, for disorderly conduct by fighting. A passerby reported hearing a loud commotion and a child crying inside Ms. May’s apartment. Questioned about the incident, both parties admitted yelling and shoving each other during an argument. Neither party reported being in fear for their safety and they both agreed to separate for the rest of the evening.
The following suspects were processed
into the Washington County Jail last week:
Mark Steven Hendrix, age 54, 906 Park Avenue,
New Matamoras, for OVI, for driving outside the marked lanes
of travel and for hit-skip, all misdemeanors. Hendrix was arrested
at Marietta Memorial Hospital by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jul 10 at
7:15 pm.
